Glassfish "PKIX path building failed" and "unable to find valid certification path to requested target"
22-06-2022Normally Glassfish looks at the cacerts.jks
certificate file stored in the GLASSFISH_SERVER\glassfish\domains\domain1\config
location. You can change this configuration or replace cacerts.jks
file with your cacerts file.
There are some default JVM Options which Glassfish is used:
-XX:+UnlockDiagnosticVMOptions
-XX:NewRatio=2
-XX:MaxPermSize=192m
-Xmx512m
-client
-javaagent:C:/glassfish5/glassfish/lib/monitor/flashlight-agent.jar
-Djavax.xml.accessExternalSchema=all
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=C:\glassfish5\glassfish\domains\domain1/config/cacerts.jks
-Djdk.tls.rejectClientInitiatedRenegotiation=true
-Djdk.corba.allowOutputStreamSubclass=true
To generate your own cacerts which doesn't have custom SSL, you can run following code. This code will generate jssecacerts:
